Hearthstone Arts makes arrangements with other artists to reproduce their work in ceramic form. We have a license agreement with Lundegaard Productions to make the official logos for the International Brotherhood of Rogues, Scoundrels and Cads, the International Wenches Guild, the International Fellowship of Royal Privateers and the Renaissance Mercenaries Guild. We have permission to copy and reproduce registered heraldry for members of the Society of Creative Anachronism and we have been given permission to produce pieces with the official logo for TeslaCon, 2011.

It is very important to us to maintain the integrity of copyrights for other artists and their work. While we understand that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery," (Charles Caleb Colton) it violates Copyright Law of the United States and we will not do that. However, if you want a custom order with artwork on it that is an original design from another artist, talk to us about it. Usually, arrangements can be made for the design in question.

We are also aware that there may be others trying to produce items that look like ours. Our specialty glazes and hand painted work are distinctive and easy to recognize. All designs and custom glazes developed by Hearthstone Arts belong solely to the Studio and no permission has been granted for reproduction or derivative work. Be advised, if it wasn't made by Hearthstone Arts Studio, it might look authentic, but a copy is still just a copy.
